Adoption fees are as follows:
If the animal you choose to adopt has not been altered or received its rabies vaccine, you would be responsible for completing it with proof from a veterinarian within 30 days before adoptions are finalized.
Cat adoptions come with a $20 voucher and dog adoptions come with a $30 voucher that can be applied towards the cost of the spay/neuter and rabies.
City license fees are as follows:
- $5 Altered dog (Annual)
- $15 Altered dog (Lifetime)
- $10 Unaltered dog (Annual)
- $5 Tag replacement (If city license is still current)
To purchase a City license, the pet owner must submit a current rabies vaccine certificate and be able provide a valid ID for proof of address. We will not accept rabies tags, screen shots, or bills as proof of rabies vaccination. It must be the actual certificate issued by the veterinarian.
** In order for the Lifetime City License to be valid, the rabies vaccine must be kept current. Pet owners are responsible for providing the shelter with the most recent/current rabies vaccine certificate yearly.
